Your summer needs a little something unexpected.
Three days of good people, crazy challenges, shared meals, dancing, surprises and a Saturday night worth dressing up for.
Think summer camp for grown-ups. No awkward introductions, no organising a group, no planning your own fun. Just show up and see where the weekend takes you.
Come solo or with friends. Everyone's welcome, and no dance experience is needed.
Itinerary
Saturday - Let the Games Begin
10am-4pm
Breakfast spread, team challenges, activities, games and dancing.
Saturday Night - Dress to Impress
7pm-Late
Dress to impress! A night of dancing (but not all Salsa!), fun and entertainment. Welcome bubbles and light canapes included.
Sunday - The Grand Finale
11am-4pm
A day of fun in the sun, activities, picnic refreshments and a few surprises, wrapping up with our Summer Experience awards.

FAQs
Do I need to know how to dance?
Not at all! Complete beginners are welcome. The experience is about having fun, trying new things and connecting with people, regardless of your dance experience.
Do I need to be an LEC student?
No. The event is open to everyone.
Can I come by myself?
Absolutely. The weekend is designed to help people meet and connect, so you don't need to bring someone with you.
Is this a dance festival?
Not quite! Dancing is part of the experience, but there's much more to the weekend. Expect a mix of activities, social experiences, games and surprises.
Do I need accommodation?
No. The event is based in West Melbourne, and participants head home between sessions. If you're travelling from outside Melbourne, you're welcome to organise your own accommodation.
Are meals included?
Selected food and refreshments are included throughout the weekend. Saturday lunch and dinner are at your own expense.
Can I attend just the Saturday gala?
No. The gala is an exclusive part of the full-weekend experience, available only to registered participants.
Will I know the activities beforehand?
You'll receive the practical information you need, including what to bring, where to go and how to prepare. Some of the activities and surprises will be revealed during the weekend.

Your ticket
- This is an adults-only, full-weekend experience, 8-10 January 2027.
- Each ticket is for one person and includes all three days and the Saturday evening gala.
- Day passes and separate gala tickets are not available.
Pricing & payment
- Early Bird: $249 for the first 15 bookings or until Sunday 22 November 2026, whichever comes first.
- General Admission: $279 after Early Bird closes. Prices are in AUD, per person.
- Payment is via Stripe. Instalments apply only if offered and confirmed at checkout.
Food, travel & accommodation
- Included food and refreshments are listed above. Saturday lunch and dinner are at your own expense.
- Accommodation and personal transport are not included. Participants return home between sessions.
- Some activities will take place nearby. Practical details and travel requirements will be provided before the event.
Cancellations, refunds & transfers
All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable for change of mind or inability to attend.
If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person at no additional cost. Please notify LEC by 5 January 2027 with the new attendee's details.
If LEC cancels the event, a full refund will be provided.
This policy does not exclude or limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
